Terms of Sale

Prints are not sold on this website. The Cozy Island shop runs on the Printumo platform at shop.cozyisland.art. Your contract of sale is with Cozy Island, and the terms governing it are published in the shop.

Before publishing. Cozy Island is the seller of record — confirmed: the shop's own Terms of Use name "the owner of Cozy Island" as the customer's counterparty, and payments go to Cozy Island's own Stripe account. The four shop policies are therefore Cozy Island's own terms, generated by the platform and published under its name. That makes the following Cozy Island's responsibility, not Printumo's:

Read the four generated policies end to end. They bind Cozy Island to whatever they say. Template text that does not match reality — a wrong withdrawal period, the wrong governing law, a returns process nobody follows — is Cozy Island's problem, not the platform's.
[POLICY URLs] — the four policies are currently only named in the text below, with a single link to the shop root, because their real paths are not confirmed. Look them up in the Printumo admin or the live shop footer, then add them here as four direct links.
[ADDRESS] — a postal address must be reachable in the shop's seller details. Mandatory for consumer sales.
[LEGAL FORM] — confirm whether sales still run as unregistered business activity (działalność nierejestrowana). Worldwide sales of physical goods may exceed its thresholds.
[VAT AND INVOICING] — the checkout shows no VAT line. Clarify with Printumo who calculates and remits VAT, and who issues the customer's invoice. As seller of record, that obligation sits with Cozy Island unless the platform demonstrably takes it over.

Who you are buying from

Your contract is with Cozy Island. Printing, framing, packing and worldwide shipping are carried out by our fulfilment partner Printumo, and returns are processed through them — but the seller, and the party responsible to you, is Cozy Island.

Terms that apply to your order

Four documents govern your purchase, all published on the shop: the Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Return & Refund Policy and the Shipping Policy. You will find them linked in the footer of shop.cozyisland.art and during checkout.

Please read them before ordering. If anything in them is unclear, ask us before you buy rather than after.

What this website does

cozyisland.art is the home of the artwork and the newsletter. It takes no orders and no payments. How your data is handled when you visit this page or subscribe to the newsletter is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your consumer rights

Prints are physical, made-to-order goods. As a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, and a two-year statutory warranty for goods that do not conform with the contract. These rights exist by law and cannot be signed away, and they are owed to you by Cozy Island as the seller — the shop's Return & Refund Policy explains how to use them in practice.
